Ross Peabody founded Peabody Engineering in 1996 and has more than 30 years of experience as a licensed civil engineer. After graduating from Stanford University, Ross returned to his hometown area of Sacramento to begin his career as a civil engineer. Since then, Ross has gained an extensive breadth of knowledge and expertise in local land development, both as a licensed civil engineer and as president of this company. Through its transition to PTE, this company remains pillared by the foundational values first instilled in it by Ross, who has always prioritized attentive customer service, expert engineering design, and creative problem-solving. Ross provides our team with the experience, knowledge, and leadership necessary to produce the very best engineering design services for our clients.

Mirann Tsumura has been practicing as a licensed civil engineer for over seven years in the Sacramento area. Also a native of Sacramento, Mirann returned home after completing her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at UC Davis to work in the community she knows and loves. Since joining our team in 2014, Mirann has become vital in both the company’s engineering design solutions as well as our project management needs. Mirann provides our team with creative and sound engineering design solutions for various projects while also managing our project timelines and ensuring we meet the needs and deadlines of all clients.

Chris Nestor has been practicing as our team’s survey manager for over five years. With his extensive knowledge of surveying, Chris performs both field and office tasks to provide our clients with precise surveying services, which include topographic surveying, property line analysis, construction staking, map creation, and ALTA survey creation. As the leader of our surveying department, Chris ensures that all surveying needs of our clients are met in an organized and timely manner. Chris provides our team with the foundational survey information we use to provide accurate design solutions to our clients.

John Mattimoe has been practicing as a licensed surveyor for over 40 years. John has been a vital part of our team since its creation, providing invaluable expertise and experience to strengthen our surveying department. John creates various professional surveying documents for our clients, such as tentative maps, final maps, legal descriptions, closure calculations, ALTA surveys, and condominium maps. John provides our team with his nuanced and expert knowledge of surveying to ensure we provide our clients with the most accurate and professional surveying services.
